    Windows 10 had a recent cumulative update where it crashed the systems... They increased the size of what was needed for the recovery partition, so the recovery partition needed...

    It can just be a standalone ZFS Pool on any type of Ubuntu root FS. ZFS, like LVM2, does not need a separate "disk"... All it needs is a separate "partition". I've had LVM2, and ZFS on the same...

    What version of Ubuntu is this? That makes a big difference. PopOS is 'Edge', so is running a lot later kernel 6.8.x) than Ubuntu 22.04.4 w/ the HWE Stack (6.5.x).
